Everything is based on cooperation. About 300 stakeholders from the business community, Nässjö municipality, and a number of public bodies stand behind Nässjö Näringsliv AB. In relation to its population, Nässjö is a significant logistics hub that is on the move. The construction of the Högland Terminal further strengthened Nässjö as a logistics center. About 30,000 people live in Nässjö municipality, with another 250,000 on the Småland highlands and in the Jönköping region, about 55 km from Nässjö.
Within two and a half hours you can reach both Stockholm and Copenhagen by train.
Nässjö in the vanguard for logistics professorship Nässjö has established a logistics chair in cooperation with the International School of Economics in Jönköping. The initiative has strengthened the region’s enterprises, which have received considerable expertise.
Nässjö’s visionary approach has contributed to the formation of CeLS (Center for Logistics and Supply Chain Management) at the International School of Economics and Jönköping University School of Engineering. |
